Through the colorful streets of Chinatown,we explore what it means to be left of center and relish in that fact. As we climb through Cortlandt Alley and stand front in center on Doyers St, we take pleasure in knowing that this right here is who we’re meant to be. From shooting on a 35mm film camera, to doing makeup in coffee shops to changing outfits in alleyways and vlogging with iPhones and fancy apps, the Brainwash Lookbook screams D.I.Y from every mountaintop and every dark alleyway. Each Brainwash t-shirt is 100% combed cotton, perfect for sleeping in or late nights downtown. After screen-printing, each t-shirt is then bleached by hand making each tee special in its own right. Here at Brainwash, we value independent thought and self-expression and anyone who wears at Brainwash t-shirt must share those same sentiments. Special thanks to Aliyah and Dom for modeling with me in the blazing sun and for my mother’s creative input.
